This 1980 Maserati Quattroporte 3 was subjected to an extensive mechanical restoration over a 15 year period. This included suspension, brakes, and engine
work. Mechanically the car is in superb condition. I am selling this car for a friend. He drove the car from his home in Virginia to Savannah, Georgia and from
there to my home in Atlanta. That is over a 900 mile trip!
The car has only had three owners from new. The speedometer stopped working a year ago when it had just under 52K miles. It is estimated the actual mileage
is approximately 56K.

There are several cosmetics items that need attention and therefore the car is being offered at a very attractive price, especially considering all that has been
done and is well documented. These are some of the cosmetic items:
1. There is some rust on the bottom of the doors, behind front tires and right rear fender. Floors and frame are in good condition. Structually the car is fine.
2. Paint is showing its age. There is paint checking on the hood and miscellaneous chips and scratches.
3. Driver's seat seam needs to be stitched. Leather itself is in good condition.
The car was featured in 2005 on the Maserati club magazine. This article will give you a good sense of the quality of the work that went into this car.

This is a great car for someone that wants to perform a "driving restoration". You can use the car "as is" and make it cosmetically better over time. I really like
the color combination of Blu Sera (dark blue) with the senape (mustard) leather.
Car comes with copies of the owner, parts and repair manual, plus many receipts and photos of the restoration
